Martha was born in Colombia where she gained a Dentistry degree from one of the Countries top Universities. She immigrated to New Hampshire in 1998 with her husband and daughter.
Since her dentistry credentials were not accepted in the United States, she decided to pursue her passion for teaching.
Martha first began teaching Spanish at Hanover Nursery School in 2004. Soon after, she started her own Spanish Teaching Program called "Sing and Learn Spanish".
After six years of teaching Spanish in the Upper Valley, Martha and her family moved to Singapore, where she continued to work tutoring Spanish to children.
Last year, Martha and her family moved back to the area, and she immediately rejoined our team as a substitute teacher.
This year, we welcome her back as an assistant teacher, as well as the head of our Spanish Program.
Martha is extremely excited to be back at Hanover Nursery School to continue teaching in an environment she knows and loves.
Martha and her family enjoy hiking, traveling, and learning about new cultures.
She also has a special love for dogs, and pet sits as a hobby.
